Meet Our Team
Elizabeth Duncan, BSN, RN, Founder
A graduate of Boston College School of Nursing, Elizabeth spent 28 years at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she specialized in acute medical and perioperative care. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has seen how strong nurse advocacy and clear patient and family education can dramatically improve outcomes at home. Her approach is rooted in honoring each person’s dignity, listening deeply to their story, and guiding them with personalized, compassionate care.
Elizabeth’s calling to this work was shaped not only by her professional experience, but also by her personal journey as a caregiver to the remarkable women in her own family. From coordinating complex care to offering end-of-life support, she saw firsthand how meaningful and effective healthcare becomes when guided by a nurse who truly knows you. That insight became the heartbeat of Hummingbird Concierge. Today, Elizabeth lives with her husband, five children, four chickens, a sweet chocolate lab, and her mother—who keeps everyone in line. She finds joy in live music, sister time, and discovering new ice cream stands.
Kim Seibert, BSN, RN
Kim has been a dedicated nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital for over 25 years. A graduate of Curry College with a BSN and a minor in Psychology, Kim has worked across a wide range of specialties including medical/surgical care, perioperative services, and nursing education. Her professional experience became deeply personal when she navigated her father’s cancer diagnosis and her mother’s dementia, using her clinical skills to coordinate compassionate, in-home care that honored their wishes and dignity.
That experience became a turning point, showing Kim how vital nurse-led advocacy is for families facing complex healthcare decisions. She understands how care goals can shift—from pursuing aggressive treatment to focusing on comfort and presence—and she approaches every patient journey with empathy, clarity, and unwavering support. Kim lives south of Boston with her husband, two daughters, and their quirky yellow lab, Bruce. She finds renewal near the water and joy in long walks that often turn into neighborly chats and laughter.
Kendra Keefe, BSN, RN
Kendra has been a dedicated nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital since 2009 after graduating from Regis College in Weston, MA. With a primary focus in maternity care, Kendra has spent most of her career supporting new families during one of life’s most exciting and vulnerable transitions. Her compassionate, upbeat presence helps new parents feel confident and cared for. She also works as a perioperative nurse and has earned two DAISY Awards and a Partners in Excellence award for her outstanding patient care.
Kendra lives in Waltham with her high school sweetheart, Shawn, and their three daughters. Whether she’s coaching soccer, basketball, or lacrosse—or cheering from the sidelines—family is at the center of her life. She loves trips to Lake Winnipesaukee and Vero Beach, and she never passes up a chance to treasure hunt at TJ MAXX.
Cheryl McGah, MS, BSN, RN, CAPA, CPAN
Cheryl brings over four decades of nursing experience—including 18 years at Massachusetts General Hospital—with a strong foundation in surgical care. A graduate of Somerville Hospital School of Nursing, Regis College, and Lasell University, Cheryl is passionate about closing the gaps in patient education and healthcare access. She’s known for her compassionate, hands-on approach and deep commitment to helping patients understand their care and recover confidently at home.
Outside of nursing, Cheryl is a devoted wife, mom, and proud grandmother of five. She loves hosting family holidays, planning trips to Maine and Clearwater Beach, and digging into her ancestry. Whether adjusting a stranger’s crutches or sharing a laugh, Cheryl brings warmth and wisdom to every interaction. The ocean, music, and comedy are her favorite sources of inspiration and joy.
Lauren Van Luling, MSN, RN
Lauren has been a nurse for over 25 years and is a proud alumna of St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing, with additional degrees from UMass Boston and Framingham State University. Throughout her career—including many years as an Operating Room nurse in a trauma center—she developed a passion for injury prevention and community education. As a Nursing Educator in Surgical Services, Lauren is known for her approachable teaching style and ability to mentor with both warmth and wisdom. Her advocacy work extends to supporting women through infertility and pregnancy loss, inspired by her belief that “love is not measured in weeks.”
Lauren lives with her husband, three children, and their Cavapoo, Taco. When she’s not watching lacrosse (her favorite), she’s cooking big Italian meals and filling her home with the people she loves most. Her ability to juggle career, family life, and continued education—even while working in the ICU during the peak of COVID—speaks to her resilience, dedication, and heart for caregiving.
Sara Rowan, BSN, RNC-MNN
Sara has been a nurse for over 17 years with a specialization in Maternal Newborn Health. She began her career in triage and labor and delivery at a women’s hospital in Indiana before working as a traveling nurse, eventually planting roots in New England. Today, she serves as a Certified Maternal Newborn Nurse at Boston Medical Center, where she supports new parents and babies during one of life’s most exciting—and tender—chapters. Her friendly, down-to-earth personality reflects her Midwestern roots and helps families feel instantly at ease.
Sara is passionate about guiding parents through breastfeeding, newborn care, and the early rhythms of life with a baby. Nursing has allowed her to blend her love for helping others with her interests in women’s health and child development. Outside of work, she enjoys interior design, gardening, and time with her husband and three young children. She’s happiest on her front porch during a good thunderstorm—proof there’s still a storm chaser in her soul.
